Each Boat Captain MUST read the Rules and Regulations for Fête-Dieu du Teche 2023 and EVERY Participant processing in boat must have signed Waiver Form.

Waiver forms should be signed and sent to the below email address or Printed and mailed to the below mailing address.

In Honor of the 257th Anniversary  of the Arrival of the Acadians and the  Catholic Faith and the 110th Anniversary of the Consecration of the Church of the Assumption

Schedule for the Feast Day:

• Begins with Mass at Assumption Catholic Church in Franklin at 8:00 am

• 9am: Foot Procession to Parc sur Teche   (4 miles)

• 9:30am: Depart

• Chitimacha Reservation Charenton:  

   11:40 am: Arrive at Chitimacha Boat Launch  Exposition, Rosary & Benediction - Lunch for Servers

• 12:40 pm: Depart

• 1:50 pm: Arrive at Jeanerette Launch  Exposition, Rosary & Benediction

• 2:50: Depart

• 4:20 pm: Arrive at New Iberia Park

• 4:30 pm: Procession Starts for St. Peter’s  (.6 miles)

• 5:00 pm: Exposition, Vespers, Benediction

• 5:30 pm: Reposition
